I really need to watch the Blade Trilogy, a line from the last movie that has stuck with me
"Are you ready to die, mother fucker?"
Keeps me from doing stupid things like arguing with customers or approaching strangers with guns pointed at me telling me to leave
Did she think he would have let your sister go if he shot her? Did she think she couldn't be shot if she tried talking it out? A concussion would have shut her up while also saving him on a murder charge
Her behavior is reprehensible, it's showing her she can do stuff like this and it's okay and it could do the same for you and your sister, but you seem more aware that actions have consequences and the best action to take isn't always the one we want to or the one that feels good
I'm guessing you two are in your twenties and she's in her forties or fifties? It's likely behavior built up over time, which would make it harder to keep in check or for her to even acknowledge as a problem
My mom could've died tonight
