It happens. Maybe she's being protective. When I was having problems with an ex and we weren't together, I dated other women here and there, and my hot older sister, whom I've always gotten along very well with, would ask questions, and if didn't like the answer, would say things like "So, she's not ME..I know what you like", or after meeting one, told me "You know I'm so much better than her".
