Some of this is a bit over the top, but fictional characters are created for a reason; they're supposed to have appealing personalities. You mentioned you're in college, so at least you're doing something productive. I take it your fascination with this character doesn't totally consume your life. It's okay to like whatever you like, just be open to other interests and hobbies too.
