My little brother knows more about life than me

For example, only in the past couple of weeks have I came into the knowledge of how to talk to people. If I just came into this knowledge, what else do I not know? And when I learn life slow will I ever catch up? Will I always be two or three steps behind people?

I'm nineteen, and my brother is seventeen and has already made out with girls. I have not. He doesn't have to analyze why and how. He can just be naturally engaging if he wills without self consciousness. He doesn't think about being he just is.

I feel he has potential to learn social success and achieve a fulfilling life if he is not on that path already.

I am an uncommon person so I have an uncommon mind. I have no common sense. Since he is a common person certain things just make sense to him. And other people. So there is no problem connecting and communicating if you have common minds.

The simplest truths may make sense to common people and they come into this sense early in life.

Is It Normal?

  • Well, if it means anything to you, you have a very interesting way of writing. It reminds me of certain philosophers.

  • I'm much the same way. My little sister makes friends like it's no big deal, but I haven't had a friend since I was 12. I can't figure it out.

  • I would look up asperger's syndrome if I were you. It looks like we might have something in common. I know how you feel, but it won't be what most "normal" people consider normal.
