Ha what a great site. I totally do that all the time. It's both a very interesting experience to be aware of your inner voice and it feels kind of existential and strange.
It can be distracting, entertaining etc.. most creative people know what you are talking about. I have many times, played that game in my head where either you try and say exactly what you are hearing in your head at the same speed or out loud to annoy a friend.
The inner dialogue mosdef is playing a role in making that happen. My reading voice is usually a version of me I guess. I've also obsessed on trying to really HEAR it, like dissect the thought process. You're obviously super creative :)
