My husband never takes off his dirty cap

He literally never takes it off except when he showers... he wears it to sleep. Sometimes it falls off but it's the first thing he looks for when he wakes up. A couple months ago we attended a wedding and he wore it with a suit, it was embarrassing. Does he have a psychological problem? He says he doesn't like to have his head exposed.

    wash it when he sleeps , he will get mad but it will be clean. yes he is mental. its true he doesn't like his head exposed , he has very good reasons as well . you just dont know the truth. other than the cap you kinda like the guy right?

    You could buy him some new hats, one for every occasion. I can't imagine a cap is comfy to sleep in.

    Disgusting behaviour.

    Being phobic about not exposing his head is peculiar enough, but insisting on always wearing the same cap makes him sound like a two year-old who insists on clinging to his special blankie.
