It sounds like your job is depressing. What is your profession? Nurse? Doctor? Person who works at a clinic/organisation for prostitutes/people who aren't prostitutes but are whores/destitute folks/people who are addicted to hardcore drugs?
Marriage really isn't that black and white. There are plenty of "good" married couples who don't cheat on their spouses and what not. Don't let people's actions ruin something for you.
