I raised my niece and nephew while my father worked (long complicated custody story), and it was incredibly hard. I hate so much when women compare sitting at home taking care of a kid to an actual job. I've done both. I'd pick sitting at home taking care of kids 100% of the time. Plus it's only one kid, which is even fucking easier.

THE ONLY EXCEPTION I can think of, is if the child is a special needs child. ie: mentally retarded, autistic, some form of serious illness, etc.
