  • What Avante-Garde said. She's doing a tough job too, and it's fun to take turns cooking for each other.

    Maybe she thinks you're being demmanding about it or that you don't appreciate what she does raising your child. Maybe do something small and nice, compliment her now and then and let her know you appreciate what she does, and maybe shell be more willing to compromise.

    Or maybe not, I don't know her, but good communication is always the key :)

      • Oh certainly, but you have to approach the situation with a bit of finesse. Dealing with a toddler all day can really put a person on edge, and if you piss her off it'll be harder to convince her o.o

        I'm all for female equality but I don't feel it would be making her your "servant" asking for dinner, since she wanted to be a stay at home mom.. Since technically the home stuff is her job since you're working all day.

        Also that's a rough shedule :/ I hope you can find something better in the near future, damn shitty job market.
