Yesterday was me and my girlfriends one year anniversary. she lives and Cali and i live in Connecticut. she went to a party and slept over, where there were other guys, our one year.
Is it normal for me to feel upset and angry at her because of this?
Ummm..."there were guys there"...of course there were guys there, there's guys everywhere. There's girls everywhere. Unless you're still in 4th grade, going to a single sex party is likely to never happen.
You're either irrationally jealous or you know in your gut she's fooling around.

If you can't handle her going to parties without you take a break, its better than to end it early than to prolong things!!!
I think you ahve every right to be upset unless she discussed it with you and was some big deal party that she really should have been to, and hopefully she made it up to you antoher day and still made you feel special.
But if she didn't acknowledge the anniversary and didn't make you feel special and didn't explain the party that is so rude and incosdierate on her part.
If it was a regular party I wouldn't have went I would've chatted with, skype call or went to see you. If it was a big deal or special event that's different but she should've asked you first to show consideration.
Yes, u have every right to feel pissed off and upset. She should've been with u instead of that party but it doesn't mean like the 1st poster suggested she was hooking up with someone else.
U need to talk to her calmly because if u get all crazy at her she will close up and not tell u anything probably
