Your sexuality doesn't matter as much here, many people would prefer to not see 2 people making out in public, but you may get even more looks because you're lesbian. Talk to her about it and tell her what you're comfortable with and what you're not. For example, I told my boyfriend that I'm okay with holding hands and his arms around me and quick kisses, but nothing too intense. Good luck:)
