My gf rejects the anniversary gift i bought for her

A phone is an expensive gift for a one month anniversary. Even though you care about her and doing because you love her, you're putting a lot of pressure on the relationship and making her indebted to you.

Think about it, what if the relationship fails within the first year? The first thing you'll probably think is, "I bought her a new phone when she needed it the most.. how can she not love me?"

Yeah while well intentioned, it puts too much pressure on a new relationship. You don't think she can get a phone if she wanted? How did she ever survive before she met you?

Now thats too bad. Give her a vibrator next time

I find that weird. If someone gives you a gift, you should accept it.

Yeah that’s normal. I think she just wants to be nice. A phone cost a lot of money and probably she feel uncomfortable to take the gifts, or maybe she feels like she doesn’t deserve it or something. Talk to her to find out what’s the problem
