My friends change every few months now

I can't seem to hold on to a friendship for more than a few months now. The friendships always end the same way. One of them mentions a hot button issue like the president, race, gender rights, gays rights, abortion, or any political topic, they disagree with me, then they stop talking to me. Is it normal?

    People have differing opinions, it just depends on you finding a friend that will understand your preference. I've gone through this exact scenario about 20 times. Good Luck!
    (Pro tip: if possible, try to avoid those topics?)

    Sensitive or what? If they can't live with disagreeements i worry about their future lives. Discussion is good for everyone. Being open minded is healthy
