My friends ask me to hangout with them but i don’t want to hang out

I notice that my friends seem to like me, they ask me if I could go shopping or bowling with them. I always say “Yeah I’d love that!” But at the end I don’t want to go, only I can’t just decline and say no thanks. I’ve come up with excuses but they don’t always work all the time.
I don’t hate my friends I just hate going out with others. I’d much rather stay at home and read, anyone else relate?

    Well count me in except that my friends don't ask me to go out a lot with them but even if they do i feel the exact same way.
