My friend smokes, hes 13 is this normal?
He said he started a few months ago.

Seriously... You are not helping anyone by saying that. Saying that will encourage someone to smoke at a young age.
In fact, most people begin to get addicted to smoking at an early age... Because of the people they are surrounded by.
Smoking causes cancer, lung disease, heart failure & also, it causes your finger nails to turn yellow & your teeth turn yellow & you get black spots on your gums. Not to mention, your lungs get coated in tar and multiple chemicals are then released into your body. Smoking is also expensive. So, by smoking, you will end up getting addicted. Which costs money. Smoking is the worst thing in the world and no one recommends it. It's terrible and it ruins the environment. Trust me. It's bad don't do it
