I think human beings just need comfort and contact with each other, regardless of age or gender. It's just society that makes us think it's wrong to share a cozy warm bed with a good friend, that's one of the most innocent and beautiful things in the world is two people just wanting to be close and not because they are sexually attracted to each other but because they genuinely care for each other.
I'm a guy and I used to sleep at my best friend's house and he would always sleep in the same bed with me, often he would roll over and hold me like a teddy bear in his sleep, I just thought it was cute and innocent how loving human beings can be without the hateful stigma society tries to place on people, as if they can't have any deep connection with people of the same sex, I think it's wrong to attempt to make something so sweet and innocent look ugly. And I feel sorry for people who fell into that way of thinking and never shared a deep connection with a best friend, because it's likely the most amazing relationship you'll ever have, it's literally like you're one soul separated at birth and coming back together just feels more awesome than I've ever felt with any sexual partner. True best friends I think are the some of the most important relationships in the world, and hopefully society will grow up and not try to shame something so beautiful.
When I lost a girlfriend 15 years ago, I don't even remember her name or what she looked like, but I also lost my best friend 15 years ago and still dream of him often and makes me incredibly sad knowing we're apart. That's the impact that best friends have that sexual partners can only fill with diamonds and other material goods because they lack true connection.
When you have true connection that truly best friends often have, not just good friends, but soul mates, no amount of diamonds in the world are important, they are like dust... and you would gladly sacrifice your own life to save that person if you had to.
My friend sleeps over in my bed is this normal?
