My friend never takes pictures of me.

I've been friends with this guy for at least five years and I can pretty much tell him anything, however, he has never taken a picture of me. He takes pictures off all his friends and other girls but not once of me. I feel kind of insulted and viewed as unimportant in his life. However, he tells me a lot too, he tries to get me to hangout with his friends too, he does talk somewhat about me to other people, and just a lot of other stuff indicating I matter in his life too. I had a big crush on him in the past which he knows about but he has told me he has been sexually attracted to me too. Is it normal to just not take any pictures of one friend?

    Maybe since he's takes pictures of everyone else, he feels that you're special and he wants to keep you for himself so doesn't take pictures of you to share with everyone.

    You're upset because he won't take a picture with you? A picture?!
    It's a piece of coated paper (if you print it), If not, a digital image.
    I don't know about you, but i don't need a picture with any of my friends to prove they're my friends. I just know they are. You can't catch friendship on film.

    Not really enough info to answer this one. What to you mean when you say he won't take your pic? Have you asked him and he refused? When you jump in front of the lens when he's taking a pic of someone else does he put the camera down and not take it until you move out of the way? Maybe you can clarify a little.

      No, if I jumped in front of the camera I think he would but it is more there are no pictures of me on his blog, facebook, etc. I partly wonder if it is because I haven't gotten along with a few of his high school friends and his brother. The only thing is I get along fine with his current friends and his brother and I don't have a problem with each of them anymore.
      He recently went out of his way to introduce me to his gf and I could ask him for super personal information and he would give it to me. I just wonder if he is embarassed of me. I'm attractive and smart so I wonder if it is my personality? I'm very honest. But then again so are some of his guy friends but he takes interest in them. This isn't something I would throw a whole friendship away over but I do find it frustrating. I guess it comes down more to a lack of interest in me I feel. Sometimes I feel like his mother with our relationship.

    Nah I hear ya.

    I had an ex who was/is an artist. From charcoal rubbings to acrylic and oil paintings, airbrushes, even watercolors. Her sketchbooks were chalk-fulla images of subjects she had drawn, sketched, painted. Finished works, rough drafts and so forth.

    And in the 5 years I was with her, not one of me. hehe

    Maybe just tell him you want a picture of you two together, because that's what it sort of sounds like. It's normal to want pictures of friends because friends are precious..
