My fiancé can’t stand being “second-rate”

So we have Verizon GoUnlimited. Which is “the lowest” Unlimited plan for data and cellphones. Verizon launches some fancy “BeyondUnlimited” and “AboveUnlimited” plan that apparently puts you above other customers in line for data. When my Fiancé found out about this he threw his phone through the drywall.

This is just an example of how he can’t stand anything about himself being “second-rate”
I can understand wanting to have the best of the best, but how can something that nobody knows about bother someone so much???

Starting tomorrow we will be paying $310 a month for two phones. Yay.

    Oh man, he's the kind of sucker marketing people love. Often, the highest price version of a product or service is the worst value because it's there to lure idiots like him who have to have the most expensive thing.

      I’m an heiress and he has already overthrown, so the money doesn’t matter, but it’s just the whole mentality that bothers me
