Rapists aren't in it for sex - they're in it for domination. Most likely he either regretted what he had become, or he was frustrated if it didn't give him the power rush he wanted.
What's more important is that you've been raped twice you said. I would recommend talking to a counselor about how you can prevent rape - especially date-rape which this sounds like.
well I was dating him at the time, so I guess I kinda thought maybe there was a shred of human in him, or that maybe he cared even a little about me.. I just want to know if you thought he was cutting himself for my reaction or for me to pity him, or because he actually felt bad?.. honestly I don't know and didn't know how to react now or when it happened..
In my opinion... he's mentally unhealthy and unsafe for you to be around.
If you haven't dumped him yet, you should. Even if you think he's going to cut himself over it.
That's NOT a reason to stay with someone.... because if he knows cutting himself may work to keep you around, he may use it to control you in other ways.
if you haven't pressed charges of rape you should talk to the police.
He should be either in jail or in a hospital. Or both.
And for you - seriously. Seek rape-crisis counseling. You've been raped more than once, you need to learn how to avoid similar situations.
And self-defense / offense... so you can get free from someone if they try to force you. Seriously do NOT be afraid to hurt someone, even hurt them badly, if it means saving yourself from being raped again.
yeah i dumped him right away, and haven't saw or spoken to him in about 2years sense it happened.. I rarely date or go out anymore & I get therapy regularly.
