My dream happened in reality

I am a 26 year old woman and one night I was sleeping and I had a dream that there was a man that came scouting around my house as if looking for something, he went all around the house looking for what seemed to be like a way in, he finally came back to the front door (in my dream it was night) and started picking it with some kind of tool that he had, he walked to my bedroom and stood near my bed and did nothing but watch me until I woke up the next morning. A week later after that dream I woke up in the middle of the night to a sound of something crashing on the floor in my room, I instantly woke up and realised a man, just like the one in my dream starring at me just like it had been in my dream, I screamed and ran out of bed down my stairs and realised my front door was wide open, I ran to the local police station and reported the incident, it was the dead of night just like it was in my dream which really freaked me out, the police investigated and eventually found fingerprints and ended up catching the man, they updated me a few days later saying it was a break in, up till this day I'm shaken to the core. Is it normal that dreams are prophetic???

Sometimes I dream about someone I haven't talked to in years , and then the next day they will text me . Or I'll dream about roses and the next day my mom will have a bunch of roses at her house . I believe you . Write our dreams down in the morning , in case this happens and just because it's funny to read your dreams to friends

I beleive if you dont remember your dreams and then what youve dreamt happens it all rings a bell, which is what i beleive deja vu really is.

My brother has this type of stuff happening all the time... when we went to a new place he seemed as if he knew the place by heart. Later, I asked how and he said that he dreamt about it. So he started telling me all the dreams ever since, so whenever he HAD a dream, I remembered it and I swear his every dream turned true. People who never experienced it, will never believe it. As for you, i think it's best to keep track of the dreams and if something bad happened, this gives you a chance to stop it.

I did dream of my father in a hospital room and was going to mention it to my family but never. Then not too long after he needed an ambulance and went to hospital and after a few days he was moved to the same room as in my dream, so that night i had a strong urge to stay with him in hospital over night and that was his last night. These dreams do kinda scare me ive had alot and they're always warnings never anything positive :/ , maybe one day we will have the answers as to why this happens?

I know its embarasing to tell these kinda stories because everyone else who doesnt experience this calls bullshit, but ive dreamt around 10 things that have happend after dreaming them. 1 of them i actually told about and then 2 months later it happend and im glad i mentioned it, I dreamt i was on a hospital bed playing mario golf on the old gameboy and i felt like i was there, then i awoke and told my mum straight away that i am going into hospital, then completly forgot all about the dream and one day for sure every part of that dreams detail came into action and i felt that deva ju feeling, which is why i beleive deja vu is maybe remembering dreams and you havent been there before but just in a dream. It sounds like bull crap but i googled it and people do experience this and we have a gift. Science is starting to evolve rapidly and quantum psysics suggests there are multiple dimensions (string theory) who knows maybe its something to do with that? i swear im not crazy lol it bugs me.

No, deja vu experiences are a form of memory chronology problem.
