My dog seems scared of something we cant see

Well im aware there is a ghost of some sort in my house but, recently my dog seems to be scared of something unseen, like the other day i let him in the house he was about to walk in when all the sudden his ears went down and he backed up,then the next day my fiance said he was look at the wall and, c*cked his head like he was confused but then, his ears went down and, he backed up ,and, then the other day he was just staring at the wall. And a while back in the middle of the night he was freaking out at the corner and barking and,he just wouldn't leave it,just wondered what people thought.

Trust me that is perfectly normal. It is a proven fact that animals are more intuned to the supernatural than most humans are because they use a part of their brain that is more active and willing to see entities (ghosts) than humans are. Keep an eye on him because if he thinks it may be a threat you should not down play his reaction because he can probually actually see the ghosts in your home even if you can't.

It's not normal for a dog to behave like
That..it could be possible that he is seeing
Things you can't.. if you don't do something about it soon your dog will
Run away or go under stress..

have you watched "The Haunted" on animal planet? animals are believed to be able to sense paranormal activaties because there awesome. if hes scared it might not be a err... good entity you might want to get a priest to bless your house

Yeah, I dont believe in ghosts and i especially dont believe that they'll come back to haunt you... however animals do have a very good sense of hearing, and smell... it might be a gas leak? Or maybe just a bunch of bad whether... cause animals freak out over that too:)

My dog lately won't come in the kitchen to eat like she use to without me going and getting her. She looks like she is seeing something and runs in the other direction. It's only when I feed her. When my husband feeds her she is fine he said. Now today she doesn't even want to be near me in the kitchen. She use to lay next to me by the computer on the floor. Not anymore! During the day I have herd her trying to get traction on the hard wood floor as if she can't wait to get out of the kitchen. She looks at the doggy door constantly like she's waiting for something to come in. Both our cats ashes are buried in the back yard. Not my choice! I use to think it was the cats coming in to eat too but they have been gone for a year or more and she is getting worse. I just asked her to come to me and she just ignored me. She has never done that. :(

N my religion we believe that dogs more than other animals can see ghosts and demons as well so when dogs start to stare somewhere and barks we ask god to protect us from demons

There are many accounts of dogs hearing termites eatin' away at houses and it often drives 'em nuts.

I belive in spirits of some sort exist. So maybe it is that. I don't know if you wanna move out because of something like this. It's possible another animal died in this house before you moved in, and your dog sees it. If dimwit lived in yor house before you, maybe try calling the previous owners, if possible.
    Good luck!

  • Dogs can hear 80 times better than you as a person he is scared because of something he hears so it is normal for dogs to do this

Dude I hear you! My dog just stared at the wall an growled at my old house. She wouldt sleep either. Just stare at the wall and growl. It frigtened me because i knew dogs see spirits or ghosts better than we so. Since I've moved out of the house she no longer does it. I'm convinced there was something in that house he saw.

I don't believe in ghosts but my dog does this too. At 3 in the morning, in a house by myself my dog will start chasing an unknown thing. It barks, throws itself in front of me and then runs away after five minutes, and I find it in a corner shivering. It is pretty freaky and I sometimes get scared -- All i'm trying to say is that yes it is normal maybe dogs are just thick.

i have cats and dogs. they can see and hear things that i can't. they get scared sometimes and i can't tell what frightened them. one of my cats stalks my slippers, one of my dogs hates our barbecue grill, so who knows. if your dog gets frightened, just comfort it.

Maybe he can hear something you (as a human with rubbish hearing in comparison) can't.
