Yes, the images expire on the app, but there is nothing stopping the recipient taking a screen shot and saving the photo, rendering the expiration completely useless.
Both she and whoever receives the image could be in a lot of trouble if she does this. Explain to her that you can't stop her but it's really not worth the risk. If she is found out, she will be put on a sex offenders list, even receive a suspended sentence. You're not trying to scare her, but the reality is scary and she needs to know it.
I dont know where you live but kids have been arrested for sending child porn after being caught in school texting naked pics to each other. Totally absurd, but it happens. Tell her to use Snapchat so the pictures expire. Otherwise, you can tell her to stop and punish her but it wont work. Whatever you do dont tell the school unless you want your daughter to be a registered sex offender.

If she's under 18 it actually is something you want to be careful with, since that is possession and distribution of child pornography if you are in USA. Which I find to be an odd law since in some states it is legal to have intercourse at that age, but not have a picture. But it is the law. I originally read this post as "My daughter has been sending me nudes" which is definitely not normal lol. But yeah lots of kids do this and she most likely wont get caught. I'm not a lawyer and if you are taking legal advice from isitnormal.com then there is a bigger problem
