When you are an adult, there is nothing that he can do about it. Just do comedic acting for now, and then later, make your own decision.
Stand up for yourself. If he loves you, he'll get over it. If he doesn't set it aside...he's not a real godly man. He's a hypocrite. Parents are supposed to love their god given children. End of story.
