I know what you were responding to and I know what you meant, which is what I said I know you didn't mean it that way.
All I was saying is that an actual hurt and confused victim, especially a younger one to which this situation would most likely apply, might read that, and get a wrong idea of how her mother might react.
But I know this was not your intent or actual meaning. There was no malice what so ever intended on your part in making the statement. Your comment was in good faith.
Most people don't in fact disclose to close family members but to their peers and then to a professional of some sort, but i do see what you're getting at although you were obviously reading more into what I wrote than I intended

Thanks for clearing that up!
