My cousin is obsessed with me

I am staying at my grandma's house and my cousin lives there. he has been following me around constantly. he does this every time i visit. he also tries to cuddle with me when i am sleeping and he always tries to get me to pet him. i think he is really cute, but i am allergic to him. is it normal that my cousin is obsessed with me?
