I hate when people have comments like this. I don't know about the US, but Canada only gives like 0.25% of GDP for international aid. This is definitely not enough to fix poverty here. If you want to look at places to take money from, look at the large corporations and military spending

If the U.S. would stop forking out money to foreign countries for just ONE year we could solve that, and most of the other problems in THIS country.
