I once was staying at my grandparents' house when I saw their cat run under my bed to hide. I didn't think anything of it until I remembered that the cat had been dead for at almost a decade. It was late afternoon, still light outside, I'd just been organizing stuff in the closet. It was totally random experience. But yeah, ghost cats are a thing.
