My brother has a dent in his chest

My brother has a dent in his chest where his heart is. He hates it, and wants corrective surgery. Its major surgery, but is it normal in the 1st place? IIN?

  • its perfectly normal, ive got a really bad case of it myself, it used to affect me lots but then i got to live with it eventually, planning on getting it tattooed with a cereal bowl or something, make the most of your differences, everyone being the same gets boring! =]

  • Yeah, it's normal, my best friend had that. The surgery is graphic, they shove a metal bar through your chest.

  • My friend had a bent sternum and had to get surgery to correct it, the dic said otherwise it could puncture her heart. My guess is he's going to have to get surgery anyway

  • Not realy. If it's a deformation in the sternum area, then he could have medical problems. Though the surgery dosn't sound like a walk in the park.
