I had a flatmate way back when I was in my early 20's who had a disgusting "boyfriend" who would come over at all hours of the night just to fuck her. She told me it was true love, but that's all it was, she was a convenient fuck. One night when she couldn't sleep with him as she had her periods, I heard him yelling at her (from my bedroom) and he slammed out of the front door of our flat. She then took me into her bedroom to show the little "love note" he left behind, which consisted him of spoofing over her underwear. Gross I know, but when I advised her to drop him, she told me that it was romantic and that I didn't know what true love was.
