A lot of guys lie because they don't want to appear inexperienced. Its that insecurity that i think all of us have when we feel embarrassed and you've had sex but we haven't or are friends have and we are like great. Wish i knew what that was like. Its also the judgmental insecurity that she's not going to think I'm any good and her ex was probably the best lover she had. It all those thoughts that can mess with you and make you lie.
i don't believe MR.mr is right about it being unforgivable but i do agree that you need to have a talk with him. How you address the lying and how you feel about his lack of experience. Is up to you.
But watch out for that train of thought. Well he lied about being a virgin so he must being lying about everything else or other things. Its what is called a Slippy Slope. Even tho its logically to ask if there was anything else that leap or fall can end up doing more damage.
So my advice. Talk to him and make sure you state that if he lies to you again. You may break things off because relationships are based on trust.
