My boyfriend talks to himself

I've been with my boyfriend for about 4 years now. When we first hooked up he had a strange nature about which I chose to brush off. First thing I found strange was that he would talk to himself then have such a creepy smile. He also was too nice or too good to be true. I would call him Mr. Rogers ;-) 2 years into our relationship I've seen him go from the nicest and sweetest person you would ever meet to a monster in 2 seconds when angered. He talks to himself, he isolates himself and us extremely quiet & hes so easily influenced from other people. Sometimes I feel as though he has multiple personalities. He also is very secretive especially of his past. I never met his family or any if his friends.

Wow. I know it would be hard to throw 4 years drown the drain.. But he could be a serial killer or something. You should really try to get to know his family and past, find out more about him. But be careful, He sounds crazy.

Honestly that post just sent chills down my spine. This is what my ex husband was like. He was the most wonderful man I'd ever met. Sweet, kind, romantic, considerate but as our relationship developed and I became more trapped (becoming pregnant etc) he would flip out and completely lose control smashing up the house and everntualy becoming physically abusive. He was diagnosed with a personality disorder and has therapy but didn't stop him form having anger issues. I hate to say it and if you're anything like me this comment won't change your mind but get out of this relationship. You can't have a happy life with someone like this and it will only get worse- even with therapy.

You've been with him for four years, and he still hasn't introduced you to his family and friend's? Just that right there, I think is off. You would think that you would've met them at least sometime within the first year of you guy's being together. He probably does have some kind of mental/mood disorder. He held out pretty long with the Mr. Roger's act. Then you saw his true color's? He might have some mental disturbances that your not aware of. Be very careful. He turn's into a monster when angered? Don't we all? What does he do throw thing's? That would be another story. Be very careful he doesn't snap, if you know what I mean.

Verify his criminal file at the court, i don't know where you live but here we just have to go to the courthouse and ask for mr.x's file.

Everyone has issues. My husband is the same way minus the secret past and not meeting family. It's difficult to deal with but love is loveee...

If it really concerns you, I would talk to a psychologist or something. Some of the traits you mentioned sound like... Well, I don't want to freak you out or anything but it doesn't sound normal.

4 years and youve met no family or friends? He may be hiding something, like a mental illness or violent past. But on the other hand he could just be short tempered and quirky. You have to ultimately decide if its normal or possibly threatening

If you love him, don't listen to the comment to get rid of him. It could be that he has a psychological issue, maybe confront him about it? You guys have been together for so long, it should be normal that you're worried.

As long as he's not hurting anybody, but just ask him.
