Unless homeless and orphaned (no family of your own), moving into a partner's parents' house isn't a good idea for many reasons.
"Single mother," so she either raised him alone or recently single. It doesn't matter if she is a victim or not, that's his mother. Whether he's a mommas boy or not, the girlfriend can't fix nor change him and it would foolish for her to try. At the end if the day he loves his mom and she knew this before she moved in.
