I have talked with him about it now, it's just a case of not taking the time to give me a heads up, which kinda sucks when you know he's probably out in the backcountry somewhere. I'm all for him having fun but I also don't think it's unreasonable to have an idea where he is. Then I don't worry if he's unreachable.
