Sounds like it's really stressing him out. Especially if he needs a good job and u guys need your own place. That can be very stressful. That's not good he has taken up drinking though. You need to talk to him about that and have him find other safe ways to destress. No one likes an alcoholic for a spouse and it will get out of hand if he keeps it up.
