He really doesnt see how much it bothers you. I had something similar happen. The best thing to do is leave him. Tell him why , tell him that you were being serious and you can't be with someone who's not making you happy. It works. He'll take you more seriously and he wi actually try to change that habit or he wont do anything at all and you move on and find someone who's willing to show how much they care about you
