My boyfriend has stopped doing these things. IIN?

I don't know about everybody else but this has happened in almost every relationship I've ever had. Except for this one and incidentally is also been my longest. He calls it the "newness". Aptly named, it's that feeling that you have in the beginning of the relationship. When you want be around each other all the time. They are the first thing you think of in the morning and the last thing you think of at night. When you talk on the phone for hours and text all the time. Simply put you are each other's drug. In my experience when the newness wears off it's a slippery slope to the end. When the little things start to disappear they add up and all of a sudden there's a big hole in your relationship and you can't remember why you're even together. I'm not trying to freak you out. What I'm saying is don't let those things slip away. My boyfriend and I still talk on the phone everyday during our lunch break. I still text him every morning when I wake up. He still calls me beautiful and compliments me for no reason. Get your newness back!
