He sounds to me like he is a little bit moody and that he needs alone time. I would leave him alone when he wants you'll notice that if you do he will come back all better. The other thing that being older than you - you may not relate to things in the same way. Just remember relationships have good and bad days some need more work than others and if it becomes more work than fun = RUN
