This is the modern equivalent of the old saying that eavesdroppers never hear any good of themselves. Why snoop when you can't even say anything about it without revealing your snooping? It's just giving yourself aggravation with no way of resolving it.
I don’t know why everyone gets so mad about snooping. It’s normal where I’m from. I don’t do it anymore but if I had the feeling my boyfriend was being shady I definitely would snoop so I could validate my feelings. But also I don’t consider it snooping if he knows about it. And he always knows about it.

When you snoop, it's normal to find shit you don't want to see and will most likely misinterpret. Stop snooping or your life will be miserable.
