Let's do the math, shall we? 7600000000 world population times 1% = 76,000,000. The US population is 323,000,000. Even under perfect wealth inequality (meaning the US has everything and everybody else has nothing) you are off by more than a factor of 4.
My advice to you is get a 4th grade math book to become mathematically literate. After you have done this, go to Wikipedia and read about the Lorenz Curve. You will learn more about the economics of wealth distribution, and why I am better than you. If you are able to comprehend everything, it could help you. Even plebeians can better their position in life.
