Is it normal that I'd love to change rules around about murderers and rapists? In Canada for example, people who steal money from the govermet can go to prison for a good 20 years for stealing money. Funny huh? A murderer or rapist can get 5 years and be free again and start killing and raping innoncent people again. If it was up to me to change this around I'd have no pity for them. Hell keeping one prisoner in jail for a year can cost up to 90k a year. Wtf? If they were proven to have killed or raped, the new law would be to kill them and their organs be sent to people who desperatly need them. So imagine all the money that would be saved from getting rid of these murderers and rapists. Think of all the people who are in need of new organs. I know killing them sounds inhuman but they deserve it for doing that act. Also I think many people will think twice about commiting these crimes. So is this normal to think this way?

    Oh and I agree with mixon!! Lethal injection is a JOKE and a slap in the face of the victims family!! Someone who brutally rapes and murders people should not get to lay down and get a shot and go to sleep, they should be tortured!!!

      Yeah! Murders and rapists should be tied up and the victim's family should be allowed to beat them up or torture them or something. No weapons, but I think that would be fair. Then kill them.

      And/or the guilty person should be surrounded with pictures of the victim all day every day. That would really make them think about what they did. Or drive them insane with guilt if they even have a shred of a conscience.

    I agree and so do lots of people. It's totally normal. There's just something about knowing someone committed a horrible crime without remorse that shuts off the tap for compassion in most sensible people.

    Stealing gov. money is a federal crime. rape and murder are serious criminal offenses. The difference: Federal prisons are way more strict than regular prisons. killing a random person on the street isn't as bad as stealing money from a very well organized system.

    I just want to say I also agree. The only problem with, say, the death penalty is that sometimes innocent people are 'proven' guilty and put to death, but when they can prove a cold-blood murder beyond a shadow of a doubt then I am 100% for the death penalty.
    Rape on the other hand, that's a bit different. I do think if someone is violently raped or molested at a young age then their attacker should definitely face a serious punishment. Either death or castration...

    The Only problem with the death penalty, in my eyes, is the potential for incorrectly having someone sentenced to death.

    It's bloody embarrassing and shatters public morale.

    Yes, murderers and rapist should go to jail for life as far as I'm concerned. But definitely go to jail for way longer than a thief - the thief should go to jail and pack back everything he stole after and with interest. Our justice system is too slack.

    thats a really great idea but i wouldnt take a brain transplant from a rapist. i saw this doco the other year about a lady who had a brain transplant and she ended up changing some of her preferences eg looks, tastes in food. so who knows how you would change with a rapist's brain.....

    Dang sharpievivid let's take a deep breath. Obviously you or a close relative is a criminal and you feel a need to represent them emotionally on the wall of a post on a facebook application. Before you get your panties all wound up I believe were talking about murders and rapists. Not murders as in crimes of passion or one time rage spells from a significant traumatic event but senseless brutal crimes against an individual that reflects on how that person is a threat to society as a whole. If your raping people and killing the innocent then you have not "been delt a bad hand" as you put it. Maybe a couple jaywalking tickets or parole or even a DUI or drugs but no one ever felt sorry for that poor rapist who was delt a bad hand when he's such a good guy raping everyone in sight. Booo hoo sounds like a hallmark movie. Get a grip man. And killing rapsits and murders doesn't make you ad bad as them. Dang hippies.

    Eye for an eye means death for rape is unjustified. Most of them have a history of diseases so harvesting their organs for others. Stealing money affects the government so I see why they would be harsher because all in all 7 billion people 1 dead is an oh well.

    Haha. The people saying they don't want a bad person's organs crack me up. "ever since I got this rapist's kidneys I've just been thrusting my hips at helpless people... So annoying." I actually believe it depends on the crime and the person. One act of hatred or desperation shouldn't end someones life. If it was something someone regretted... A one time act of insanity... Lock them up. Maybe beat the shit out of them every now and then, but let then live with it. If it's a serial killer or rapist, go ahead and kill them.

    I've always believed in "scientific" testing on murderers / rapists. Spare an innocent animal and get accurate results. Seems fine to me, but the people I've talked about this to seem to disagree. Is it really that wrong to think this way?

    I 100% agree...and child molestors should be eliminated immediately. They have done proven that child molestors cannot be rehabilitated, so yeah, they should be sentenced to death.

    I totally agree. I think that all the time rapists and murderers need to be eliminated. We spend so much to feed and house these monstrosities it's outrageous. I like your idea to harvest organs from them. Two birds with one stone. Maybe they could die a little less humane than going to sleep though like death by fire ants or belt sander or something. As long as the organs arnt harmed lol.
