Mr. right?

Is it normal to love the man who knows he thinks mainly of himself? And then only want to be friends with the man who treats me well?

Is It Normal?

  • Yep, many women go through that and then they come crying on here that there's no good men out there.

  • Its common for people to value what they have to work for more than what comes easily. The rare words of love/encouragement from the jerk mean more to you then the common words from the good guy.
Hope you get your head on straight before you loose the good guy.

  • You married Mr. Right, you just didn't know his first name was always ;)

  • Seems to be a common problem.
Personally, I loath self-absorbed shallow people, so I would never date someone like that.

  • its normal but not healthy.

  • Yes, yes it's normal. Lots of young women will tend to prefer the self-centered @sshole, rather than the guy who treats her right because they like the challenge, they have the thinking: "I can change him!". And those good guys could seem too easy, so they just pass them. But it's just a phase. The relationship with the self-centered @sshole will never change, so you should consider that good guy.

  • Normal for the young.
When you grow up you'll start to think more of yourself and less of jack@sses like the selfish guy you mention. Long-term relationships only work with nice men.

  • It tends to happen a lot, kind of like a trend. Ever notice you want something because someone else has it and you can't? It's the same thing here, you want him because he thinks he's the best, so it makes you want to see why. Since you don't have him, you want him and all that.

  • It's a phase. As a woman you want to understand all types of men before you make your choice.
