    Maybe you can try buying tampons.

    Loud sounds are bad for the ears. (I don't know if your tv can be loud enough to that, but if it bothers you and the others, tampons may be a good solution...)

      How small are the tampons available were you live??? Alternatively, how big are your earholes?

      My mind is boggling at people using tampons for earplugs ... or am I missing a deadly subtle joke?

      Yeah that's a good idea. It would be fucking stupid to use earplugs when there are tampons to be bought.
