Most animals, especially dogs, are afraid of me

It's not like the feeling isn't reciprocal; I'm not comfortable around them either. Whenever I hear the stupid jingle like you get from a collar and i'm instantly on edge. It's even more of a problem when the dog keeps trying to get in my face. A few cats have done it too...

And if the animal isn't getting in my face it's flipping out and growling or hissing at me.... Although i did instantly recognize the expression of fear/anger(when it's there), i don't ever so anything to deserve it, so as a result i don't trust them.

I don't know about cats, but dogs will sense your discomfort and act in kind. Fear begets fear unfortunately. Try hanging out with a friend who has a good pup and build up confidence.

    • Lol no they don’t. Not all canines are the same. And dogs can actually act aggressive when they sense your discomfort. They are decendence of the disgusting barbaric wolf after all.

Wolfs are beautiful, intelligent animals. They avoid humans in the wild, because they are smart enough to know that humans are their only enemies.

        • No we aren’t. Other wolves and great cats could be their enemies too.

It’s fine that you think they are beautiful and intelligent. But they don’t really have the cognitive functions like other animals do. A creature who pisses on a stick to claim it’s territory isn’t all that intelligent. Nor are wolves emotionally inclined, like cats and elephants are.

And it’s not wolfs, it’s wolves.

"Act in kind", doesn't mean act kindly. It means if you are nervous, they will be too, and a nervous dog is more likely to be aggressive. ☺
