I'd say wear what you want...at 20, you're a man (or at least, supposed to be, anyway)...I'm a 56 year old man, and my parents bought me boxers from about 6 or 7 years old, and I wore those until I was about 14 or 15. I've been pretty much a brief guy ever since, but I will wear a boxer brief once in a while, and boxers yet more rarely. In any case, they will be white and clean...I don't like wearing any other color underwear, and dirty ones are simply unacceptable after the day they're dirtied (unless the stain will wash out...if a stain sets...they're either rags or trash...I buy approximately 4-5 dozen pairs a year)...
