Mom's apartment is incredibly messy?

I came back from staying with my dad for a few days and the apartment looked awful. A sink full of unwashed dishes, bags of garbage which haven't been taken out, unorganized crap everywhere, and she STILL hasn't done the absolute mountain of laundry that's been sitting near the door for the past 3 months. She has been on welfare (she absolutely can work but uses her mental illnesses as an excuse) for the past 10 years and has 0 resposibilities. She has every hour of every day to get cleaning done but instead she sits on her ass watching TV and smoking until 5 AM.

    Thats gross not messy. messy is some papers or something laying around but having garbage dirty laundry and dirty food crusted dishes is gross and has the potential to attract bugs and other vermin.

    There's studies were they gave mice a utopia. They breed for awhile but then eventually loose the will to live when everything is provided for you and you have no needs this is what happens.

    In the studies the mice stop breeding, start fighting and eating each other. Some seek seclusion while the majority pile on top of each other en mass.

    If ive said it once ive said it a hundred times. Struggle builds character. Without struggle life becomes meaningless. No meaning and then whats the point? Why do you think people who have everything they could need who to others should be having the perfect life turn to suicide or drugs or the like
