I think if you still love him, you should try to make it work. After a year, it's natural you won't feel the same spark with him as you did in the first few months. These things take effort after the honeymoon period's over, it'll happen with any other relationship you get into as well. The only reason I can see to break up with him is if you're not ready for a reltionship with that amount of commitment, and if you want to do that then think long and hard about it first, as if you decide to leave you probably won't et a second chance with him.
