Miscarriage?

Im 19 years old, sexually active but technically still a virgin. 4 days ago I thought I was starting my period but it was just light brown spotting then disappeared then the next day I had the most unusual 'period' I have ever had, it was heavy thick black and dark brown blood, then the couple days after was just light dark brown blood, my thoughts automatically went to "miscarriage" even though I haven't completely had sex, it has been close and precum has been involved a few times. I have read conflicting stories on the internet, some say precum can get you pregnant, some say it cant, some say all my symptoms point to a miscarriage some say its just "old blood" which doesn't really make sense to me.
I just need a straight answer because this is really starting to worry me, also, should I go see a doctor? or is it too late now because I've been procrastinating for 4 days.

Obviously if you want a straint answer you should be going to a doctor and not posting on this site.

P.S. everyone one knows that precum can get you pregnant and if you were in a situation where there was some precum that ended up in you, you are not a virgin.

Just a word of advise tell the dude to put on a CONDOM.... Not only protects you but him as well. That is unless your trying to get pregos.

The black/brown blood is normal. It IS just old blood that's been hanging out in your uterus from the month before. My period always starts out thick and dark.
Now, there is sperm in the pre-ejaculate. Wear condoms, silly.
It wasn't a miscarriage. Just your period or spotting.
=) calm down and be safe.

Precum IS semen. So it can make you pregnant. And if you're worried, you absolutely have to see a doctor, if only to give you peace of mind.

No one's period is exactly the same every time. Mine sometimes starts and stops and takes days to really get going and then its really heavy for two days and then it's almost nothing, etc. It's very difficult to get pregnant without even REALLY having sex. I don't think you had a miscarriage and I wouldn't worry about it. Wait until your next period and if it's unusual again and it makes you uncomfortable, see a doctor.
