My mother has been on methadone (for degenerative artheritis) for over 10 years now. And just to put it out there for people to see how horrible this stuff is. If she stops taking it now she will die. She is on an antiseizure med. now because she developed them due to long term methadone use. Tell him if he doesn't want to COMPLETELY ruin his life and everyones around him to stay off of it for good. My mom is a dif. person now mood, likes, dislikes everything. I wish my husband and her grandchildern would have been able to get to know the real her. I would also consult a doctor for the detox because (not to scare you i'm talking long term methadone use) people have died from trying to get off of it. THANK YOU AMERICA.....
