    I have to agree that it is a ploy to get in the heroin market, but that being said going from methadone to cold turkey already supposedly it takes about 6 months to achieve normalcy, if he has already been off it for a while I would suggest waiting it out.

      I AGREE!! Wait it out! My boyfriend was in the same situation. Literally the exact same. He just locked himself away. DO NOT LET HIM TAKE VALIUM. Good Luck.
