A few years back I was 30 and she was 16. I was driving long-haul semi-truck and stopped for the night in a large city. We met in the cafe and spent a lot of time visiting. She was mentally mature and had the appearance of a grown woman. A few hours into our what became a date she told me her age. I was shocked!!! She was more mature than many gals close to my age.
But, the age difference was just too great o out of respect to her I did not pursue the obvious intense mutual attraction.
I suppose that in certain circumstance the age difference can be overcome but it is likely very rare.
